Top Reason Not To Listen To Liberal Talk Radio

And, as far as I'm concerned, the ONLY reason thus far...

Their movie reviews are ANNOYING CRAP. I dislike most movie reviewers as they seem to think that simple entertainment value isn't enough, but that a movie has to be artistic or benefit society in some way. Why can't a movie just be fun?

However, the Air America movie reviewer I heard the other day (and I don't know her name, unfortunately) struck me as one of these intellectuals who is probably smarter than most folks around her, she knows it, and yet she stays in the position she's in because she's afraid to challenge herself by trying something harder. Or, even worse, she'd rather be the big fish in a small pond than a fairly-good-sized fish in the ocean.

Anyway... avoid movie reviews at all costs - particularly those on liberal Talk Radio.

And of course, Rush Limbaugh is still a big fat idiot.

Just don't avoid Roger Ebert's reviews. Even when there's not a chance in Hell I'll see the film he's talking about, he's still worth a read. I think he's too fine a writer to pass up.

And while Limbaugh can be a full-bore moron (especially when he's in Bush Administration apologist mode), he's nowhere near as bad as Sean Hannity. At least Limbaugh can be genuinely entertaining. Hannity has all the worst features of Limbaugh and none of his virtues.

True on all counts, Dale. Forgot about Ebert - he's one of the few who doesn't act like he's more intelligent than you.

I won't deny having been amused by Rush on occasion... but he's still a moron. And Sean Hannity/Ann Coulter and that whole nasty bunch all need to go.

Great moment I saw during the Dem's convention back in 2004: Hannity talking to Howard Dean, and Dean telling him "There's this great movie out called 'Outfoxed' - you really should see it," and watching Hannity try to defend himself and his network. Brilliant.
